One of the highlights of this trip has been shooting at the Senior Worlds Water Ski Tournament. It's a 35 years old and older tournament and has competitors that are into their 70's posting up huge scores in the slalom course, on the jump and in their trick passes. Now, it's certainly inspiring seeing the top pros go out and run through 41off and jump 250 feet and throw down amazing trick runs. But watching a 63 year old women hit a jump and go for it, is pretty inspiring and gives me hope that I can ski until i'm 100!
During this trip, I've also had the opportunity of photographing several young rippers. It's amazing what the "next generation" of skiers are doing on the water and I'm really looking forward to seeing what these kids are able to do as time passes and they perfect their craft even more.
So whether you are 5 or 55, go grab a ski and get on the water!
